Tardy Policy
Attendance and promptness are expected of all students. That means you show up on time every day we meet.
That being said, I know sometimes it is hard to make it to class on time due to transportation issues, family issues, or just over sleeping.
So that is why I give every student one free tardy pass per each 6 week grading period. Your welcome.
If you are tardy a second (third, fourth, etc.) time you will be marked tardy and expected to stay after class and help out in the classroom cleaning desks, organizing books, picking up trash.
Harbor High School's tardy policy:
Total of 10 tardies (in any combination of classes - NOT per class)
Total of 20 tardies (in any combination of classes)
21st tardy or more:

- Example: two tardies in five different classes
- Referral, call home and entered in Infinite Campus.
Total of 20 tardies (in any combination of classes)
- Conference with Campus Supervisor Hollis O'Brien
- Saturday School (8am – 12pm)
21st tardy or more:
- Parent conference and student contract with Assistant Principal of Discipline
- Community service
- Social probation (ie. 1-2 week dismissal from sports, clubs, dances, prom, etc.)
- Referral to the Student Attendance Review Board for continued tardiness.
